16 inch wheels on an 07 LTD 4x4

any way to get 16 inch wheels on an 07 Limited 4runner? I've read that the wheel will rub the brake caliber. Do wheels spacers help at all? How much grinding?

Very duable...but you wouldn't want to do it.

I went wheeling w/ someone that has a 2005 Limited & he has the FJC thinner 16" wheels & he had to grind the heck out of the caliper.

How much...couldn't tell you.

He said if he did it all over again, he wouldn't do it.

I loved the fact that the base SR5 comes with the 16" wheels. Less weight, more peformance and a better ride. Smaller front brakes but this thing stops plenty hard. Even napkins go flying.

Not all Limited's come with the bigger brakes. Some have the standard brakes, others have the larger brakes found on the Sport Edition. So, depending on which you have, you might be able to run 16's.
