17" Toyota Tacoma Sport Wheels

My buddy is selling his (4) Tacoma 17" wheels for $200 which I think is a hell of a deal. If I was to throw these on my 1998 Runner, what tire size would work well with these? Would there be any rubbing issues when you upgrade to 17's? I'm currently running 265/75/R16. Thanks for the help.

If you run for example 265-75-17 you will have rubbing issues, I run the 17's on mine with 265-65-17 with ever so slight rubbing.

To the OP, the latter size in this post is nearly identical to the size tire you are currently running.

Do you have any pics of your 4Runner? I'd like to see how close the tires are to the wheel well with your upgrade to 17's (as well as the rubbing issues). Thanks

I believe these Tacoma rims will be tucked in a little more than the stock rims.

dont remember my tire size I'll check when I go outside but I have no rubbing issues.
