These are Pro-Comp wheels part number 7005-7883
17x8 with 4.5" backspacing 0mm offset.
Also installed Firestone Destination A/T 265/70-17 (stock size) P-rated.
I scoured the internet and the best deal I could find for the wheels was at 4wheelonline.com - the four wheels to my door were $583.76. The wheels drop shipped right from ProComp in California, I received them next day and didn't have to pay tax! 4wheelparts might have been a little less, but if you have one in your state then you have to pay tax so it turned out to be more.
I got the Tires at my local Firestone dealer for $740 installed including tax. They said the tires were $5 each over cost but I dunno. Happy with the price. Didn't buy any extended warranty or anything.
I bought the 24 black 12mm x 1.5 lugs at Pep Boys for about $33. Tire shop only had chrome and they were like $60. I also picked up the short antenna I read about on the antenna thread while I was there and it's awesome, thanks for the tip!
The center caps from ProComp were a bit cheap and didn't fit properly so I didn't use them. These ProComp wheels' centerbore is 108mm and the stock Toyota hub is 106.8mm so there's not much room for the center caps to squeeze in there. The ProComp center caps are the old school type that have a flange and insert from the back, not the modern "snap in" type.
I spray painted the hubs with Rustolium BBQ grill paint, works awesome. Also front windows are tinted.
An interesting snag I ran into was that the factory front studs don't protrude out as far as the rear studs do. The installation guy pointed out that the lugs aren't threading on much more than 7-8 revolutions on the front which is a little sketchy. The rear was fine. The front toyota hub plate area is thicker than on the rear, but all 24 studs are the same, just on the front they aren't allowed to protrude as much due to the fatter hub piece.
Also to note, the factory SR5 17x7" wheels weighed 29.6 lbs each and these new ProComps weighed in at 24.4 lbs! Nice! I ship professionally so yes I zeroed the scales and made sure it was 100% accurate. So the new wheels more than offset the heavier tires! Nice.
Review- Like many people have reported putting a new set of tires on these Runners makes a pretty noticeable difference. It doesn't wander and feel like you're driving on marshmellows anymore. More connected to the road and more "normal" - like how it should have came from the factory. Maybe cause the wheels are an inch wider that makes it more stable too, but probably more related to the tires. Very nice improvement over stock. Road noise is about the same as stock which is pretty amazing since these A/T tires are fairly aggressive looking.
So all in all I'm extremely satisfied. Now I'm trying to sell my factory wheels and tires on craigslist / ebay and almost pay for my upgrade hopefully.
Oh also I got the Huskyliners in black and I absolutely love them. Trimmed the nibs off at the door sills and let them sit in the sun for 15 mins to relax them made them fit perfectly.
