Thats the way I feel too. Plus the peace of mind that full warranty brings means a lot to me. Shit does happen. There is also the joy of driving something that is yours when brand new.

I ride all the good roads in W.,NC on my motorcycle. My favorite being Rt 28 out of Highlands up to the Fontana dam then down past Deals gap to the Cherohala Skyway and home. Ive ridden all over the US and this is probably the best ride this side of the Rockies. I also ride N.,GA a lot. Why'd you move?

Great career move, met my wife, and lack of humidity is really nice. Plus the skiing is amazing! Fall can never compare though...
 
The word "Tariffs" has to be considered here. If it happens, add 10%-15% to cost of 4Runners from Japan. You will also see the dealers adding up charges.
I just took delivery 2018 SR5-4WD. I could not find out anything on 2019's. I do not want a unibody 4R.

Dealers are loaded with 4R's, manufacture dates: 3/18. Go figure.

I hear you on the humidity.It is really beautiful and green around here.Unfortunetly that requires a hell of a lot of rain.

Agreed,the tariff situation situation is a cause for concern. Everything will go up.Dont think any self respecting corp will pass up an opportunity to price gouge.
 
I don’t want any unibody either. Toyota would be nuts to mess up the 4Runner IMO. Not hearing anything about tariffs. Looks like 2019 will still be on frame. Planning on buying a 2019 Pro.
 
No major changes.

Production starts 8/1. Delivers late August. Voodoo Blue for TRD Pro.

New model built off the Limited but comes from factory with the chrome blacked out.

Enjoy.

The TRD PRO doesn't have an automatic running board option, or push button start.


EDIT: also no moonroof

At Gecko where did you get that info? They will use the Limited as the platform for the Pro? Doesn’t the Limited have different 4WD system and suspension than the Pro, I.e. KDSS?

My crystal ball. TRD Pro is not being built off the Limited... as I said, this is a new model/trim with aesthetic differences.
 
I've noticed that MSRP is already increasing on newer inventory of the 2018 4Runners. Could be a bad sign for what is in store once these tariffs fully kick in.

When I bought mine in May, the base MSRP for ORP was $39,695 and $995 destination. Newer shipments are now $39,895 base and $1,045 destination.

So I've already saved an extra $250 in the 2 months that I've had it. :dance:
