HVAC Recirculate mode not working, how to fix

My climate control recirculate mode does not work, it only stays open for fresh air. There are no grinding or clicking sounds, so I think it’s an issue with a servo and not a mechanical issue with the door. Has anyone had this issue?

How do I get to the fresh air inlet door to replace the servo, what part numbers do I need?

I’ve tried searching but keep just finding info for the 4th gen

If you want to ensure that any part number that someone may give is correct you may want to tell everyone what year and model your 5 gen is, part numbers can change in 15 years!

It's behind the glove box, I tried to find you a video but couldn't find anything for a 2016, only 4th Gens but none of those actually show the recirculating air servo.

There are 3 servos behind there 2 will be mounted to the left side of the glove box opening on the HVAC housing and the other will be attached to the fan motor/cabin air filter assembly housing, this is the one you are looking for.

I have attach a drawing for a 4th gen and I believe the 5th gen is the same, hopefully it is, at the bottom right in the small frame it shows the fan motor/cabin air filter assembly housing, you can see the recirculating air servo labeled 87106G that attaches to the right side of that housing.
