1st I will say I know next to nothing about Toyotas or fuel injection. I've always liked the 4runners and finally found one. Bought it because it needed a fuel pump. Haha not. Does it ever need what a seller says. I've got a crank no start. The fuel pump wasnt pumping but it cranks over strong. Sometime it wants to start briefly but rarely.
What I've done...
1. Drained old gas put in new. Shes been sitting over a year.
2. The fuel pump didnt come. I bypassed everything and ran a 12v hot directly to the pump. Plenty of pressure at the csi when I crack the line.
3. Plenty of spark. Plugs looked rough so I changed them.
4. Noid light shows nothing on #1 injector or csi. Both inj wires have 12v if I'm not cranking.
I've googled and red for 2 days but am still lost. Seems everything I'm finding is for cars or later trucks. I'm to the point that's it's about ready to be converted to a carb with the 22r carb and intake I have. I'm sure I'd regret that later. There is a lot of terminology I'm ready like what I'll assume are pin outs that I'm not familiar with.
I see no cel so I'll assume I've got a bulb out.
