1990 Sunroof Wont Open Help Please

My sunroof wont open when I press the switch I can hear the motor running but the glass doesn't move. Can anyone help me with this ie instruction on how to fix

Theres a panel that surrounds the switch, you can remove it and there should be a screw you turn with a screwdriver, there is on my 93 anyway

Mine does the same. I just yank on it to open and close it lol

Use a BIG hammer! It will open quickly. Only issue is closing it again... it may turn into hundreds of small sun roofs

Hhaha I do the same thing on my rear passenger window, the motor went out so I just loosened the bracket and open and close it by hand, (I'm getting tube doors in the spring)

Whenever I take the 4runner to work and drive atlunch, i make a (vrrrmmmmmmmm) noise with my mouth as i pull the sunroof open by hand lmao!
