1992 4runner build

Bahh, damage happens. Nice to see some one doing some real wheeling on here. Sounds to me like its solid axle time.

Wagglyfawn, there are several vehicles on their lids at this 4x4 location... it makes getting parts out easier....:pimp:
I am leaning toward SAS cuz I know it will hold up better to the harder trails. We'll see...

It has been quite a while since I posted any updates on this rig. Started building another rig that will be more for the harder trails. At this time I am going to fix the front end with a used 5.29:1 gear set, get an alignment, fix the head(s), head gasket(s), valve cover gaskets and install a new radiator. I REALLY like the way this drives on the road and will keep it for MOAB, Colorado and as a spare driver until I figure out what I want to do with it. I would love to figure out the front steering, lowering the bar that goes front pitman arm to the idler arm some how or fab something up. Maybe run the fj 80 TRE's after redrilling the knuckles? I may sell it complete if I get the right price. :hatsoff:
