One of a kind 1993 4Runner Sr5 V6 4x4 5sp. Pewter Pearl. All options with numerous clean modifications (not lifted). Mobile 1 always-lots of new parts and tires (overly preventive maintenance). No accidents or rust. Shines like it just came from a showroom. No off-roading. Simply beautiful! Upgraded stereo, speakers/amp and lots of other goodies. Always serviced by 2 toyota mechanics since it was purchased (I'm very anal about it).

It is essentially a better than new '93 for 1/3 of the cost of a new one. They don't make 'em like this any longer, nor I bet you or anybody can find one this nice, with this low of mileage and one owner.
 
Wow, I wish you the best in selling it. It's definitely worth the money. That's one hell of a rig dude. I sure wish mine had only 39K on it...
 
Your ride is sweet too! Mine is no way near as customized as what you've done though. It really looks stock except for some better springs/bilsten shocks/sway bar/bushings/push bar-lights and interior upgrades. I'm sure there is somebody out there who is looking for a 2nd/3rd vehicle or one for their kid going to college. I simply have too many vehicles now! (New 4Runner Sport v8 and 2 Hondas) The dealer offered me $9,000 cash for this one after the deal was settled for the new 4Runner and my mechanic there (in confidence) told me that they'd put it in their showroom and that I'd be crazy to sell it at that price (and to a dealer).
 
Thanks for the reponse. I'll post some pics this weekend. Not all people see a like-new, low mileage vehicle as a fair deal, like you and I do. They'd rather purchase a clunker for a "deal" and dump a ton of money into it to fix somebody else's problems while never knowing when something new will arise. If I had any foreseeable future use for this gem, I wouldn't consider selling it. Either way, it will make somebody happy. Again, thank you for your inputs and view from the other side of the coin. :)
 
jhinderliter, I've reported your posts in this thread to the moderators. I've also suggested that they remove you from the forum.

If you can't conduct yourself in a civil manner and be respectful of others, please go somewhere else. You imply that you are a member of the armed forces, though I doubt it. I would have thought boot would have taught you better manners.
 
hmmm...looks like a couple of posts or missing now..wonder how that happened..initially i just dropped a little comment but i got lit up a few times..pretty sure i remained tactful thru out..Im positive i didnt call anyone a liar..i guess thats hard to judge now with those missing posts..

I have been reading this thread for a few days and I noticed that it heated up today. I decided to delete all of your posts except for this one where you noticed the deleted posts of 94yotarunner.

What happened is that when I got home from work, I had 3 messages complaining about your posts, yes one was from 'flange', but it was just one of them. I agree lets keep this section for selling things. You still have the right to post, but keep this section for selling. Thanks.
 
Thanks goes out to the moderator and those of you who properly addressed an individual who obviously was out of control in his "opinion". It speaks highly of the type of community & individuals this organization supports.

You'd probably be a lot happier person if you weren't going around raining on everyone else's parade.

Obviously my sarcasm wasn't very obvious. I was being sarcastic about the past posts... in which if you remember I was on his side lol.

No bash... sorry for the confusion. congrats for the 12k was what I meant.

Sorry, my memory sucks. I remember someone hacking on the guy, but didn't remember who. I have fallen victim to the online sarcasm trap myself a few times.
 
'94 & Flange ~ you two always had my back-thanks! Yeah to those naysayers, not only did I get the "buy it now" price 1/2 way through the auction, but I had 3 others who once saw the auction close, made the same offer as the buy-it-now price. 1500 people clicked on it and 49 people were watching the auction by the time it sold. Toyotas are the only the only way to go-I'm now driving a 05 Sport and love'n it, though the '93 was much more in tune with the driver and had a lot more personality.

Yeah, it was both you and "flange" that complained to me about some posts done by "jhinderliter". I must say that "jhinderliter" stopped the negative responses.


By the way "Mafster", I hope you stay and post some pics of your new rig in the gallery section. :D
