If the check engine blinks 7 times then has a long pause and blinks once more, does that mean 71 or 7 and 1? Also does the egr have its own o2 sensor? Thanks.

Its a 71 which is egr. Anyone have any ideas as to of which part of the egr it could be? The vehicle runs rough now, it feels like a loss of power. I am also experiencing high idle(about 1300). Vehicle has very slow acceleration now. It ran fine after I replaced a fuel injector and now it has the same loss of power but feels like its firing on all cylinders. Replaced all plugs/wires/rotor and the fuel filter. Any ideas? Its a 93 4x4 v6 140k miles 5sp man.
