I have a 95 160k auto 4x4 4runner. Vehicle runs very good, with a rebuilt transmission about 4k ago.
Recently the vehicle burps and backfires. This does not happen when I am going down hills though. The burp sounds like it is coming from behind the dash area or in the back part of the engine compartment, and only happens when I am pushing on the accelerator.
The vehicle did sit for about 2 years prior to me buying this.
