1997 4Runner iPod interface adapter?

Hello everyone!

Been an owner of a 97 4Runner Limited for 10 years, but just joined the club.

Im interested in getting an iPod interface adapter for my stock toyota stereo, but unsure if it exists for my generation (3rd). Anyone have any advice? I do want to keep my stock headunit...just want connect my iPod directly.

No I don't think that will work. It says 2005 and up.

I haven't seen anyone with a setup where they can use their iPod with their stock head unit.

Im finding adapters for 1998 and above. Now, i know that my headunit does not look the same as the 1998 headunit, but do you think that the rear plugs will be the same?

Any advice will helpful!
