1997 Front Hub Spindle Nut size?

I was starting the TBU today, am using 1/4" spacers to clear my stock 16" rims that do require clearance. So I bought longer wheel studs, but contrary to what I
learned on the internet, they ARE too long to just slide in from the back....the hubs have to be removed.

I have seen 54mm, 28mm, and 32mm sockets listed as the correct size. I have nothing close to that.

Can anyone tell me the correct socket size for 1997 4wd and will any socket that size work?

Can I use an impact wrench to remove the nut or will that damage the bearing?

Is the correct torque on reinstalling the spindle nut 174 ft/lb?

Anything else I need to know?

Thank you...

Looks like I will be buttoning this up to try again another day

Thanks!

So I pull the spindle nut, and undo the bearing bolts behind the hub, will that get me to separating the dust shield away from the hub so I can thread the longer wheel studs thru the hub?

I keep reading about wheel bearing replacement, not the aim here.
