1997 front spring codes

My beloved 1997 SR5,4WD was totaled. I pulled the Bilsteins off the front along with the springs. I now have a 2000 SR5. I'm pulling the whole strut assy. off both sides to put on my '97 so someone can haul it away. I'm putting the Bilsteins on my 2000 with the springs off the '97.
The '97 springs have colored dots on the springs. one has two blue spots and one has a blue and a yellow spot. Toyota tells me that with 16" wheels the front springs are two different part #s, but didn't know what the paint spots meant.
Does anyone know how the paint spot coding works?

I have never seen a chart matching color codes to part numbers or specs, but I sure would like to if someone has this.

Yes, the 2 springs are different part numbers. The drivers side of the 4runner gets a slightly taller spring to help prevent leaning to the drivers side, which you likely know. If you are swapping them in without disassembling, just keep them to the same sides they were on. If you are disassembling the coil overs, it's easy to tell which is the taller spring which goes to the drivers side.
