So this is My girlfriends 4runner it has 115 k on the 3.4L with a factory install trd sc and headers the proble that it has been having it if you stab the throttle to the floor it will fall on its face and back fire and pop and make all sorts of noise then it will pick up and accelerate but if you lean into it it works fine.
the second issue that i beleve is related is it throws a p0420 code which is engine running below efficiency levels bank one.
