I have looked for YouTube videos showing how to replace the 1999 4Runner stop light pedal switch without success. Also looked on the forum..
I tried looking up the pedal mechanism with a flashlight while contorted with my head on the floor of the pedals and can't make out where it should be. Ive replaced these in other vehicles.
Help poiting me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
BTW: It was all working fine until today I was trying to repair my trailer light assembly which was damaged; while trying to splice new terminal I may have shorted the switch (?) as my shifter is now stuck and brake lights are not coming on. I've checked the fuses.
