1999 4Runner.. is it a highlander?

So I just picked up my second 3rd gen 4runner, it’s a 1999 green trd s/c 4wd truck, sold through southeast Toyota, i have the original window sticker and it does not say highlander to my knowledge. My reason for questioning is that the truck has 4.10 gears, a hood scoop, the 5 spoke wheels, color matched bumpers and grille and is IJM. No e-locker in the truck. I got it from the original owner and he just said it was a sport he special ordered with add on leather (southeast Toyota add on not factory optioned) and the supercharger.

Is there any way to verify if it is? What do you guys think.

The Highlander was just an appearance package. Scoop, body colored grille/bumpers, fogs, maybe something with the dash? Maybe something with the seats? And in that year, only black or green.

It was NOT an offroading package - those were all separate options.

I'm pretty sure I've seen 2WD Highlanders before. And 4WD. And automatic, and stick. And locker, no locker. And running boards, no running boards.

Anyone can replace the hood but with the flares, color matched grill & bumpers I'd say it is. (yes you can paint them too but I highly doubt someone spent the coin)

My truck has the same appearance as the OP, plus running boards, color-matched grille and bumpers, black flares, hood scoop and moon roof and trailer hitch, which I believe are part of the Sport Package along with cloth sport seats and oak and tan interior trim (not woodgrain). 4WD and Locker were optional, which I don't have.

My flares were faded so I cleaned them and spray painted them charcoal black, it was a bit of work but they've held up great for a year now.
