1999 4runner wanting mods

To do list:
-black paint job
-new headlights that match the black paint
-spare tire to be on the back instead of under the 4runner
-small lift
-blackout my stock rims
-maybe a custom front bumper

I have a 99 4runner sport edition

I am new to 4runner i just bought this 4runner in july and now i want to make upgrades

Anyone have any advice for me like brands or shops(i live in houston)

Thanks any type of advice is nice since im new to 4runners doesnt have to apply to what i said above.

PS when i made my username idk why i put 97 in the front lol

Tyteclifts.com has all the lift stuff you need. they are really knowledgable to if you need help give them a call. also this site is really good to all of us here are really knowledgeable and will help if we can. welcome to the wonderful world of T4R. cant wait to see pics.
 
posted a picture of it, the only thing different on it now is vent visors

Great looking truck man - nice and clean too! Are you saying you want to paint it black though? Imperial Jade is such a desirable colour for a 4Runner - sure you don't wanna keep it that way? : )

Serious!! How about taking that paint money and get the maintenance up to date if it hasn't had it, piece of mind. Foreal? i didnt know alot of people liked that color.
Ive been looking around and i saw one 4runner with these TRD wheels i think they are for FJ cruisers i think i'd like to get 4 or 5 of those they look sweet. i know they are expensive though

i didnt do it lol, and why des everyone love imperial jade. im new to this man i just thought 4runners are badass thats why i bought one and 135k miles isnt too much right?
 
It just looks nice! I don't know?!

And now, 135k is not bad. Mine has pretty low miles, right around 115, but my last runner hit 292k before I drove it to get a new engine, and swapped it in.
 
I really like green, am even tossing around the idea of painting mine green. I also realllllly wish i had a sun roof.
 
ok good it will last me through college and more i want to get a 4th generation with a v8 whenever i get enough money though but that wont be until i get out of college
 
nope no sun roof, i was in need of a new vehicle when my truck got totaled and i got a great deal on the runner.

Mine is not quite a pretty as yours :D

There are a few different companies that make them, but that one is from a guy out side of Seattle Wa. His web site is badlandsbumpers.com I have actually been kicking around the idea of selling it. From him they are about a grand, there are a few companies that frequent this site that have their own spare tire carriers.
