I just got the 4Runner using the excuse "this can be Kelli's car"... and "it's much safer than the Focus". But deep down... it is ME that want's the toyota. If I could... I'd drive it everyday myself.

And I hear you about the safety thing. It's really a double-edged sword. On one side, it's 100% understandable that you'd want your child to be as safe as possible. On the other, it's also understandable to want the people behind the vehicles that can do the most damage to be the more experienced drivers.

She is more experienced with full size SUV. That's about all she's driven. She said it's "harder to drive the Focus and Civic". I guess she's not used to it. Plus.. we just want her in the safest ride. But she better not wreck the 4Runner!! Me and "paw paw" gonna be busy rebuilding it!! :sobbing:
