Hey Mitchell, where are you in NY? I'm in the Albany area.
I am right by Utica
Nice I've been trying to find people in the area. I'm not from here and am trying to find legal trails..
I believe most trails are in the Catskills. ADK's are pretty off limits. It kinda sucks because I spend my entire summers in Old Forge which is about an hour north of me.
I've spoke with a couple guys about an hr south of me on the Newburgh area and they say most places are off limits but if you respect the area no one complains too much.
Nice rig Mitch. Youve made a lot of progress so far. Love the color btw![]()
Nice first 4Runner. You can do some cheap exterior improvements. Get some Rustoleum satin black spray paint for your trailer hitch. You can probably use some Bondo and satin black paint to make the bumpers presentable. Rustoleum metallic silver paint is a dead match for the wheels. Take the center caps off and paint them. If you remove the running boards when your parents aren't looking it will take them weeks to notice. Signed, a parent.

What gave you the idea for that mounting position/location? I can honestly say I've never seen lights mounted like that before...I'm assuming they go to a switch and aren't tied into the reverse lights.
New update:
I purchased some LED interior lights from OPT7 to put under the dash. The kit comes with a hook up to an interior dome light and when I wired it up, the lights are supposed to turn on white when the door is opened but it does the opposite. When the door is closed the lights turn on and when the door is open the lights turn off. Any ideas how to change how that works?
Also, while I was looking at the fuse box in the engine compartment, I noticed this box that was taped with electrical tape and then cracked open.
