Hello all. I've searched and didn't find anything conclusive or remotely helpful.
I have a 1988 SR5 4Runner and the climate controls are shot: the cables appear to be stuck and the controls have all but fallen apart.
Has anyone found a good replacement? How about a retrofit/swap from something else?
I'm finding 30 year old units from other 1st gens but I don't want to spend $200 on something that is probably almost as crusty as what I already have.
