My 1987 T4R 22E EFI has started a cold starting problem.
The symptoms are:
Hot engine idle speed when engine is cold (800rpm) (should be 1000)
Very sluggish acceleration when cold. (I suspect the timing is not being retarded)
Also on very rare occasions (once or twice a month) the temp gage on my dash will go from normal to near full HOT in about 4 seconds and then right back down to normal about 15 to 40 seconds later. I suspect I have a bad temp-pickup (I
