you son a ***** mother fcker lol find me one !:wow2::rockthrow::crybaby:

Lol sorry spencer. Its at my local pick and pull. I gotta pull it in the a.m.

any idea how to get the window down with no key or power? Hoping they have the key( if they have the key ill just pull the battery out of my truck when I get there for a power supply.

Also gonna see what else I can use off the truck, and ill take that too....really wish I could just tow it home and rape it then take it back. Lol

Congrats! It wouldn't be a 4runner without the rear window rolling down.

I've never seen my 4runner with the rear window down.....or the top off. So its exciting to actually get a gate I can use.

On another note I have the original registration for my truck, found it in the glove box. It was bought on my birthday in 1989.

Great find, the working tail gate is a unicorn LOL Can you check out to see if it has a good un cut Grey radio bezel? I need a nice radio bezel if you would not mind shipping one to Florida:)

Will do. Ill let ya know. Anythoughts on my other questions on how to get the window down?

Remove the interior tail gate cover, locate the hot wire on the window motor and jump it with a hot battery. You should be able to lower the window with a hot battery good luck

Hmmm ill have to see what I have to work with when I get there. Hoping the key is there. But chances are its not. Any idea of what color the hot wire is? I assume ill have to cut the harness to find it.

On the motor there is a two prong plug hook + to one side and _ to the other. if it wont go down reverse your polarity and it should. (- +) =up (+ -) =down

If that fails unbolt the (3) 8mm bolts that hold the motor to the regulator and you can work the window by hand.

I'm trying to source a pic of how the interior panel comes off and what the motor looks like but I will take you advise banks and puddy. Ill get pics current and new tommorrow.

Well I got it!! Not a bit of rust at all. Perfect condition. Any one know how to swap my lock cylinder in to the new one? Ill get pics of when I get it out of the back seat. This thing is heavy...

Man you guys are still that deprived of tailgates? There are a ton out here in California and in many different colors. One of the advantages of living in rust free california.

I'm guessing shipping would be alot and I would have to check for a white one, but I can let you know if you are really interested. How many pounds do you think a tailgate weighs so I can get an estimate at fed ex, ups or any other suggestions? I'll just take the same dimensions of my 95 tailgate as a reference. It might be a little bit, but if you are really interested I can work something out.

This is exactly why we are deprived of tailgates here where spenc and I are located. Check our grey hound for shipping. I'm guessing mine with window and motor and regulater installed is around 90lbs so id say about 60-70 stripped.

I'll have an extremly light weight grey one in a few days if you want it spencer...hehehehe ill include the window.just come get it...lol
