That might not be such a good idea because a lot of the older threads can be useful when you're searching for info. After all, everyone always tells people to use the search function. The more ways a question can be asked, the larger the library of info there needs to be IMO.
I agree that separate 1st and 2nd gen forums would be a good thing. I think the "Classic" section should just stay there and be classic. Then the info would still be there, but new threads could be gen specific.
The biggest subforums are the 3rd and 4th gen sections. I don't see why the 5th gen section won't get huge too as they keep making more of them. I think if the other gens followed suit and had their own forums, the interest would grow from those owners.
Whatever the plan was in the beggining for T4R, it isn't a 4th gen+ forum now. It's a
4Runner forum, and the only one that I know of. So it just makes sense that each generation of 4runner
as Toyota describes them, should have their own subforum.
