1st gen sunroof glass removal

I've started to remove the cracked sunroof glass from my pristine frame. Does anyone know of a method to get these apart? Some areas feel like butyl and heated putty knife works as expected, but on the sides it feels much harder and laughs at the putty knife. I have a good piece of glass in another with a rusted frame and hoping to get one good assembly out of this mess.

no broke it closing it improperly. ill be looking for an upgrade option.

Ouch! Still available from the dealer but pretty expensive from what I remember. I'll post back on my success/failure of pulling used glass out of rusted frames as it should cost less.
