Yep, went with OME 2" lift but decided to try the torsion bar versus BJ spacers at first. My mistake... couldn't level out with new rear leafs (I even took a leaf out of that pack), opened the wallet back up and got 1.5" BJ lift, replaced both Upper & Lower ball joints while I was doing that then backed off the torsion bars some to get it level. Sooner or later I'll that leaf back.

1988 on its way

Going with BJ spacers and add a leaf for now. Bj spacers went in great, fighting with leaf springs most of the day. Hopefully finishing the leaf springs tomorrow and then headed to alignment shop then new meats getting mounted on wheels.i have stock mid 90s t100 wheels. 15x7jj will these fit without rubbing? They seem way deeper than my current steelys.

I like them very much. Legit, much brighter with great spread for enhanced safety and sharp cut-off- unlike those crappy HID's without proper optics that a$$holes have on their vehicles that blind people, and uses less energy than dim halogens. Well worth it.

So much inspiration in this thread. Job well done, fellas. Here's my contribution...

First day after installing the OME kit. Need to adjust the torsion bars a bit more to level out the rear. Also waiting to put on the ARB w/ Warn winch in the front and a new set of 33x10.5" BFG's, then off it goes to the alignment shop.

So I didn't know where else to post this being new to the forum and a pretty new 4runner owner. This is my black beauty. Got her in Oakland roughly a month ago, and am just starting to figure out that the guy I bought her from didn't use her at all. Obviously I wanted to do some cosmetic things, bigger front bumper, new suspension/lift, but now just recently found out after getting stuck on this side of the road that I most likely need a new head gasket or more. Last week I replaced my brake booster and master cylinder, thought she was a ok. Not the case. Nostalgic rig for me, my dad had a bunch of 1st gen 4runners we'd take 4-wheeling, so I'm stoked to have this. Definitely going to get my hands all over it though, would appreciate any help of advice. Thanks
