I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you have a problem. Keep it up and we'll have to fly out there and stage an intervention.

Yeah maybe I do I actually was always into fj40s but the old timers kept pushing the price up. I only got into these surfs when I saw the softtop that was available to buy. But that's it for me. I am happy and I plan never to regret selling them ...by well...never selling them

Now I have to find another hobby. :dammit:

The part right behind the wheel, yea... but it looks like there's some sort of rod going from the bottom of it towards the back.

88 4Runner, V6, Auto, 210,000 miles Owned it for a few months now. Only MOD for now is a add aleaf in the rear. Been fixing a few wiring problems on the inside. Repacked the front hubs, replaced the CV, and replaced the rear axle seal.

I see. Why not either remove or relocate the mud flaps so the tires don't rub on them?

Have only had the truck for a short time and didn't see any big rush to remove or relocate them. I guess i have never paid much attention to them. Complete tune-up as well a a new set of winter studded 33x12.5x15 on a different set of the same style rims. I do have some plans for the spring summer but I purchased pretty much as pictured and am very happy driving this runner.

Bushwacker fender flares. These are coming off in the next week or so as I have a new set of the cut out ones on order that attach right to the fender.

Your's looks exactly like mine.. same drivetrain and graphics and everything.. only thing that sets ours apart is that we have different rims.. haha!

here's my 86 project it's all stock for now not sure what tires. I have 15x8 rims with 4.5 inches back spacing not sure if I can run 32x11.50s or go on the safe side and run 31x10.50s? Need some help! Thanks
