1st Post - I Want a 4Runner

Hey guys,

I'm familiar with forums (vw gti & bmw e30 forums) so right off the bat I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place.

This is my 1st post, 1st of many more I hope.

Basically I've always loved 4Runners and wanted one but I've never come by a decent buy or taken action towards buying one. Recently I've done some performance work to my GTI and I've been thinking about getting an SUV/Truck for daily driving specially in our NE / Mass winter weather.

Craigslist and other shopping sites turned up a few beat to death trucks or highly over priced ones.

I want a cheaper older 4Runner that's been cared for like I would care for my own vehicles so the idea came to me to check Forums & Clubs so here I am.

Q1: Is there a regional FS/WTB section?

Q2: Since I donno much about them, I would appreciate any advice regarding generation, engine, package so on and so forth...

Please keep in mind that I am looking for something cheap (i don wanna finance, got enough bills )
