1st Significant Mod

Hello to all, love this forum, lots of great info and ideas. Well I have had the new to me 08' T4R SR5 a little over a week, and have done numerous easy mods and upgrades. Installed Weather Tech floor liners and cargo liner, OEM hood deflector, AVS in channel Vent Visors, Chrome "4Runner" license plate frame(cheesy yes), and a weather tech pet barrier(which is clever and works well). Just finished up yesterday installing a painted T4R factory spoiler from the Spoiler store for a $105.00 shipped.
Shipped quickly and out of the box it seemed well made and the paint ID4 Silver matched really well. Install instructions were vague and confusing. But with the help of this forum, installed in a little over 3 hours. Had to plug one hole I drilled in the upper passenger side on the inside of the tailgate, the rest of the bolts to install the spoiler lined well with factory grommets and plugs.

Very nice start and nice SR5, how bad was drilling all the holes for the spoiler? That's the thing that's keeping me from getting 1

Actually easy. Only one hole to drill from the inside of the tailgate, the other 3 lined up where I could pull out factory gromets, plugs etc to tighten down the bolts from inside the tailgate. I just checked my measurments with the templates over and over and over, then went for it. I noticed you did the non JBL to JBL subwoofer install. I am in the process as well, I am hopingto to install my JL XD300 amp in the same location as you did. Question, did you have to do any cutting to get your amp to fit on the subwoofer enclosure? How is the fit when you put the panel back on? Can you access the amp controls easily through the removable cargo panel? Thanks.

Thanks, I bleed Orange. I live in the Albany area and have been going to games since Manley Field House days. Should be solid again this year. Hoping the T4R will make the trek up the Thruway more enjoyable this season.
