I have had a daystar leveling kit on my 4runner since may, installed at shop. Lately its been having this vibration coming from the right front wheel, felt in my feet and steering wheel from about 45mph+. Today I take a look at the bolts holding everything together, there are 2 on the side and one in the middle that I can see. I notice the two on the sides are visually not as tight as on the front driver side. I take a ratchet wrench to it and they are easily tightened.I cant get the third bolt in the back without jacking it up , I think. Obviously the loose-ness is a problem, I tightened them as much as possible. Took it for a spin and the vibration is noticably gone.
What should i do? I figured jack it up and tighten the 3rd bolt in the back.And Im assuming I need a torque wrench or impact wrench to get all of them as tight as they should be, rather than using a ratchet. Is this correct, what should I do? What should i torque them all to? Should have loc tight been used, its apparent it wasn't, since I was able to tighten them so easily. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
