hahaha.......that was a good laugh. i wonder where this guy was at to be able to find two people in the same place who don't know a $2 bill exists.

Dude, you just made my day!!!! That was the funniest thing the in the world.

I could understand the kid cashier not knowing since they have removed it from circulation, but the older manager guy SHOULD have seen them before...

Isn't the $2 bill out of circulation for years now?

If so, I don't think I'd be using it to pay for Taco Bell.

WTF, who hasn't heard of a $2 bill? Now for something really interesting, I'm sure the guy would have been in complete shock if it had been one with the seals in RED inik. Those exist too!

You can buy them here.

...and for some real fun you can buy UNCUT money sheets directly from the US Treasury here. Try passing some of these sheets the next time you're in Taco Bell. :D

Give the Taco BEll manager a break.

Apparently he has little education, skills, training, or experience. That includes no ambition and lack of anything remotely resembling life experience. Otherwise he would not be the assistant junior second shift manager at a Taco Bell. You have to treat peole there like working with the retarded. Use small words and speak slowly.

Good thing he did not have to befuddle his mind with Susan B. Anthony Dollars. Would not even know who Susan B. was......then really mess him up with some Sacagawea dollars......

That gave me a good laugh. Who has never seen or heard of a $2 bill? I actually kept three in my drawer because they were in good shape and I knew they are not easy to come by. Also, I would want more than a free burritto and a small drink to compensate me for being embarassed like that.

Between undergrad and graduate school my brother and I took a cross country driving trip. We had roughly $1K. On our way we stopped by the local bank to transfer the cash into travellers checks.

The bank was asking patrons if they wanted a $2 bill as change. I said sure, give me $1K worth.

It was great, we had a wad the size of a suitcase of $2 bills. It kept our spending down and the looks and expressions we got was funny and a great story.

The $2 bill was produced in 1976 and most recently in the early 90's. I am told that a run of the '76 bills was missing an original signer of the Declaration of Independence. If you have such a bill, it is worth more than $2.

He would have really been confused if you tried to pay with one of these. I bought a sheet at the US mint a while back.

No cheese or sour cream on that PLEASE.

(Gets food order--brings it right back) I said ONE BAR-I-TO 3 CHIM-A-CHANG-As. You gave me 3 BAR-I-TOES and 1 CHIM-A-CHANG-A and NO Toe Stad-a. And they all have cheese on it. Can you correct that?

What do you mean I have to stand in line again? You messed up the order, just fix it!

What do you mean no comprende?

I want UNO BAR-I-To, TRES CHIM-A-CHANG-A, and UNO Toe STA-DO. NO CHESO, POR FAVOR!

No, I don't want a FREE apple fritter. I WANT WHAT I ORDERED!

No, you idiots! I don't want to get in line again! I just want my food!

(Mumbling) Ay cavron! Pinche pendejos!

my old man has those 2 dollar bills with the stamp on them, now with the sheets, I'd buy a sheet and then go to pay for something and start cutting:D

That would be kinda funny. Imagine just walking up to a counter with some scissors. You hear

"That'll be 2.48 sir"

"Ok, hold on (pull scissors out, unfold the sheet). let me just cut you a few bills here"

It would be more fun at Home Depot on a Saturday with a total of 67.53, so then you could take out a sheet of 10, 20, 5 whatever, imagine tryin to keep a straight line.

They probably call the cops thinking your running copies off at home:D
