2" Body Lift

I installed my BL last Wednesday. I made sure I spray all the nuts including the bumper there is four bolts and two nuts in front of the wheel well and the two bolts on steering column and one nut on the Automatic Transmission with PB Blaster. I did mine couple of days while waiting for the lift to arrive and the nuts come loose easy. Next project slider, bumpers with winch and tire carriage. Here are some pics.

looks good but what are you going to do about the bumper? That is one thing I have questioned about a BL on the 4runners. I wanna get a 1 inch but i dont want the front bumper to have a big gap in it.

Like I explain on my post I'm fabricating my own bumpers and slider. I have the tube 2" /.120 bars already. I'm just waiting for my friend to help me build it.

With the 2", what did you end up doing with the radiator? Just curious, I did the 1.5" and all I did was remove the lower shroud, and it seems to work fine, ...., but thought 2" might require lowering the radiator.

I would recommend the rad drop brackets with the 2" BL, without it, the hoses get deformed

Radiator drop is the easiest one for 2" bl lift. The next hole under the hook is perfect 2" down. and you can use the stock bolt. I order radiator drop thats the one I use for the bottom holes, but you can use thinner bolts and nuts with washer for the bottom holes. There is one hole align with radiator hole using thinner bolt. No drilling. Make sure you disable the clamp for battery harness and front diff. breather when you lifting the body.

Before BL....3" suspension lift with 285/75/16 full flex rubbing on offroad. After the 2" body lift clear the rubbing.

I lifted it on the pinch weld on the middle of the front and rear doors with piece of wood block on the hi-lift. I posted pic #1. BTW its 4x4snowRunner....there is another sn0wrunner here.

hey 4x4snow, wat hi-lift do u have? im unsure if the height that will work for a 3-5" lift...

i thought bout buying one so when i get a flat i can actually change it... my bottle jack barely fit under the rear axle before my OME lift and doesnt fit after if i remember correctly. Plus i hate that thing bc i got a flat once in a parking lot and the wind blew and the car fell off the jack. my opinion is that "bottle jack = POS"

Hey LINY, so i no u had the 2" BL on ur runner before u got the TJM-17 and was wondering if u bought the bumper brackets or not... i remember reading from most of the guys on YT that they use the stock brackets and move the brackets upward. I plan to get a front end later so id like to not have to spend extra mony on the brackets if i dont need to though i want the stock bumper to be flush.
