Howdy!
I've been lurking for awhile and decided I should man up and join. I owned a 2011 Salsa Red SR5 for 11 months. In that time I realized I really wanted a Trail Edition. This was partly due to looks, but mostly handling. I found the SR5 fairly competent off-road, but it drove like a boat on road. (Just my opinion).
Anyway, for the last couple of weeks I've been the proud owner of a 2011 Salsa Red Trail Edition. It's a huge improvement all around. I've already installed 275 BFG ATs and am planning on quite a few more mods. I never did a thing to the SR5--it just wasn't worth the effort to me.
