2 weeks!

Only 2 more weeks to go before my 2000 T4R Sport 4x4 is here. This was my sisters and never ever been off road and the 4wd system used maybe 10 times. Her and her husband are getting a new car and giving me their runner for free. I currently own an 09 DBCB TRD Tacoma but can't wait to start modding the runner. This will be the wife's 4runner but I'm going to make some overlanding type mods to it. After i get all the maintanance items out of the way i will begin the modding. Here are my plans as of right now-

Lift-Probably OME
National Luna dual battery setup
ARB Front bumper
ARB 6.5 ft. Awning-Completed
ARB 50qt Fridge/Freezer-Completed
Camping Lab Medium RTT-Completed
Hella/IPF/Light Force off road lights

As you can see most of the larger/more expensive equipment i already have. This will be a slow build because of my work schedule and because I'll have to warm the wife up to the idea she will be driving a modded vehicle for the first time ever lol. I'm sure my mod list will change many times for whatever reason. Feel free to offer suggestions on lifts/tires or whatever else you guys might think I should try.

Took delivery of the 4runner early this morning and had it inspected. All I can say is wow this thing is solid! The truck has 151,842 miles on it and runs great considering no maintenance has ever been done on it. As far as rust goes, there is 2 small places on the hitch which can easily be fixed. This thing is awesome!

There needs to be forum rules that temp-ban those who don't post pictures. Its like a bait and switch, false advertising, and harassment all rolled into one.

Hahaha. That would be perfect.

And just so there's no confusion OP, we're totally just playing. Welcome and it sounds like you got one screaming deal on your Runner. Look forward to seeing it.

Pics in just a sec. Can anyone tell me where the fuse for the sunroof is? Thanks

*Edit* Found the fuse

Usually I don't have problems upoading pics. I'm on my iPhone and was in krogers when I sent my last message and then 5 minutes later while getting gas some winch in a pos Honda civic with fart can exhaust almost took the front end off my 4runner. I beeped the horn and she put her car in reverse and rolled the window done and looked at me like I was crazy. I think she had been drinking. Stupid ****ing *****-end rant.

Same thing happened to me a while back, but in my Tacoma, and the lady actually hit my bumper...damage wasn't too bad, but I was very pissed to say the least.

Anyway, congrats on the 4Runner and looking forward to follow your build! :thumb3:

Excellent time to test your 4wd.
1) Hop in the vehicle
2) Laugh like a lunatic
3) Put er' in 4LO
4) Mash the gas, up and over the Idiot Honda.
5) Laugh like a lunatic

So the sunroof hasn't worked for quite awhile now but today the motor decided it wanted to work but the sunroof won't move. This thing used to be parked around a bunch of trees so I'm thinking the sunroof drains are clogged and acorns and debris are keeping it from moving. This sucks!
