20" Chrome Rockstars? What tires should I put on?

Hey all!

First question.....what does everyone think of the 20" chrome rockstars?
I will have a cornfed 3/2 with these.

Second....Do you think it will look aggressive?

Third...Do you think I would still need spidertrax spacers?

Fourth...Should I go with 18" instead of 20"s and why?


Thanks everyone!!! I really love the tires on these bad boys. Does anyone have suggestions of other wheel/tire combos that would make a 3/2 lift look sexy mean and aggressive with or without spidertrax too? I am very open for all of your opinions!

I think the MT's look better than those other tires.

What color 4runner do you have?

I'm not a huge fan of the chrome Rockstars.

I'd look for an agressive looking street tire if you aren't actually going off road since why compromise street performance for the look of an M/T. Low profile 20"+ tires tend to increase hydroplaning of any tire that has a smaller size counterpart and having an M/T or even an A/T will make things even worse.

Look for a tire that has good wet weather manners and keep a margin of safety in place.

I love mprsev wheels he has on his truck!

Would you go with 20"s like his or 18"s in his same wheel and tire combo? With my color of truck would you go chrome instead of black?

I would go with the 20"s on 33"s. That would look badass, you would have to go with the Cornfed 3/2. You can get that at www.burtmanindustries.com

Get the mud terrains. I have 18" with 33's. Toyo mud terrains are the best too. They are the quietest mud tire.

Your truck is one of the best looking imo. What is the actual size of those tires? Do you have spacers/rubbing?

Thanks man. They are 275/70 R18, 33.6" tall and 11.0" wide. I had to trim alot of my inner fender and a little of my bumper. No spacers, just the lift, the spacers made it impossible to fit this tire. At full crank it rubs a little between the side wall of the tire and the upper control arm.
