20 Posts Before New Thread Seems Extreme

Just go make your 20 posts and be thankful moderators don't go deleting these bump and agreed posts. You can rack 20 posts across like 10 different areas of the forums so quickly. That other forum that I had to make 50 quality posts, took me like a week to make them. I'm sure it can be done in an hour if you guys do what y'all did in this thread.

I'm glad I'm not alone in both thinking the minimum is ridiculous and using this post to up my count. I couldn't get my first account to ever activate so now I'm trying to make up for my past 2 months of silence on the forum so I can start my adventure thread for an upcoming trip.

It curbs spam threads, period. If it there wasn't a minimum threshold there would be a crapton of garbage threads for mods to wade through and delete. There are problems enough with spam posts let alone spam threads.

Gees deal with it, its not that hard to comment about twenty things (about something you enjoy no less), seriously, it isn't.

Sometimes you don't need a new thread for that, 4th & 5th Gens have a Stickied Buy, Sell, & Trade thread.

They could fix spam post by moderating member requests. Of course, I have no idea how many member requests come in per day, it could be more daunting than clean up I suppose.
