I'm looking to replace all of the speakers in my 2000 Toyota 4runner and don't have extra cash to have some installers over price me for their labor. I just got the Pioneer f900 Nav system and the stock speakers suck. I want to buy some speakers and install them myself. Can someone show pics of how to remove the panels where all the speakers are placed? I also need the sizes of all of the stock speakers so i know what to purchase. I don't want any subs (or anything crazy loud outside the car), but some good quality speakers inside the car.

Rears can hold 5 1/2" or 6 1/2" with adapters and the fronts are 6 1/2".
One item you should be conscience of is the speaker depth.

I have the Polk MOMO 2 ways in the front and i absolutely love them. Not sure about some of the other Polk speakers but my MOMOs are freakin huge and took a fair amount of modification to the stock bracket to make them work. Mostly depth was the issue. The rear's are a abnormal shaped speaker and you are going to need to buy/make brackets for them as well. I about brackets that were 1/8" thick in diameter and still had to make my own spacers to bring them out another 1/8". Those are with infinity reference 5.25s which are a pretty small speaker.
