I bought my 4 runner spring 10' and have put 6k miles on it. I have replaced a front wheel bearing, a/f sensor, and replaced pads and rotors.
bad - windshield,1 front wheel bearing and rear hatch glass...
the chrome bumpers have rust,the running boards have some rust pimples but the paint is not rusted except on the side of the windshield,which caused a spider crack in the windshield - $300 for new windshield and $150-300 for the body work I am told to clean up the pilar and male sure new glass stays good.
the other known problems are the other front wheel baring & rear hatch window driver side window support bar ?? has 3 bolts that moved out of place supporting rear window-it needs those bolts cut out or new holes drilled and new bolt through bar and lower window frame to keep it going up and down even. window will go up or down but will want to go up side ways unless walked up with a hand fwiw. I took it apart to see what was up and could have fixed it but it was getting dark and cold out so I put it up and have kept it in the up position.

I have all service records from the original owner I bought it from. He had the shop put a timing belt & water pump on it around 125k along with a set of plugs,wires and did a transmission fluid service also. tires ,new firestones at 130k - interior is nice,older couple with grown kids owned it so the interior is nice, it runs very well,starts easy and other than the glass issues and the wheel bearing it is a great runner.
I would like to get $5000 - If I get the WB done for $180 and the glass done for $500 the hatch would probably have the glass fixed then also for $100'sh- I would be asking $5500 for a needs nothing vehicle with an excellent service history - as it sets it needs work but runs well
Cash talks - I will not go lower than mid to upper $4k'sh so I may move some on $ I am not desperate - the 4runner drives great.
