We are selling our 2000 Toyota 4Runner with factory E-locker and automatic trans. This is not your average 3rd gen 4runner. We built it to be a reliable, go anywhere adventure vehicle. It has been repainted using a very high end single stage paint in Nardo grey. This allows for easy removal of desert pinstripes with a simple buff. Since owning we have only used genuine OEM parts except as noted. The odometer has 225k but motor was replaced at 215k. We used a JDM motor which have approximately 65k on them when purchased. Again, I only use OEM parts and replaced all gaskets, seals, hoses, timing belt, water pump, thermostat etc during the motor swap. We have gone through and replaced almost everything on the front suspension and steering components including all bushings, lower control arms, lower ball joints,inner and outer tie rods again all with OEM parts. The previous owner replaced the steering rack as well. Aftermarket suspension parts include Total Chaos uni ball upper control arms and adjustable king coilover shocks. The rear suspension was replaced with Old Man Emu springs and Bilstein shocks. The tires are almost new BFG Ko2’s 285/75/R16 (33”) on TRD Offroad wheels. Armor consists of 4xinnovations weld on rock sliders and 3/8” steel front skid plate. We built a custom low profile full length roof rack and mounted a 40” single row led light bar as well. The interior is clean for a vehicle of its age. The sunroof opens and closes as it should as do all the windows. The stereo and speakers have all been upgraded and sound great. We are including a CB and magnet antenna.
