Hi everyone,
I have been lurking this forum since I purchased this 4Runner. I am a Toyota guy and own a modified Mr2 Spyder that I consider my toy and the 4Runner my daily.
The 4Runner has been reliable until recently where last month I tried starting it and there was absolutely no power! The battery was old and had no juice so I replaced it with a brand new one from Costco. It had been working well till today. I was walking back to the car and trying to unlock the door with the key fab and nothing happened. There was absolutely no power (electricity) again!
Battery terminals are tight and there is no rust!
I didn't have a CEL nor a low battery light when I drove it this morning!
I am thinking of having a short somewhere or one of the ground wires are loose!
Any help would be appreciated!
Note: All this started happening after front rotors and brakes were replaced!
