2000 limited 4runner front bumper replacement?

Hi,
I am looking at replacing the front bumper on my 4runner. Now it is a limited edition, and the bumper I am looking at says it will fit an sr5 without the sports package. I google image searched a 2000 sr5 4runner and find that the front end (with the fender flares) looks identical to the limited edition one that I have. Has anyone here ever replaced a bumper on their 4runner and are the bumpers for that year all interchangeable? Here is the bumper I am looking at. Toyota 4Runner Bumper - Free Shipping - Replacement
you can definitely see the clippings on the side for the extension of the fender flares.
Is it as simple as removing part of the fender flare that is on my current bumper, and assembling it back onto this new sr5 one?

yes, its super easy.

Buy one on eBay if you are not buying OEM. No sense in paying more than you need to. They are all about the same.

You want a limited bumper. The limited/01+ sport bumpers will have holes for fender flares.

Note you will buy a chrome one or a primered black one if you want to paint it.

thanks, but i have looked absolutely everywhere and i can't find a front bumper that will fit on a 2000 limited 4runner. they have plenty of sr5 bumpers, and it looks like the sr5 model has the fender flares, so i dont really see what the difference is?

At least in '99, the SR5 has no flares (like mine) unless you have the sport package. I believe the chrome bumpers have no holes, just the primered ones that go on Limiteds. I'd like to switch to painted, but I don't want the holes. I'm pretty sure '99+ are all the same in this regard. There are two chrome bumpers and one painted for 96-98, but only two types for '99-'02: Black with holes and chrome without.

2000 SR5 flares dont have bumper flare sections.

2000 4Runner SR5

I just got into an accident and my front bumper needs to be replaced. I have a 2000 SR5 and it has fender flares. I can’t find a chrome bumper anywhere with fender flare holes. I can find the valence, but not the chrome portion.
