Here is my SR5 I bought in October. So far I am a happy 4Runner owner.:)

I wanted to avoid another black truck, since they are so hard to keep looking good, but this one was in such good shape I couldn't pass it up. Oh well it looks nice.

It has 48,000 miles on it.

I wasn't pleased it came with Firestones but they have turned out to be pretty good in the snow and ice. Don't think they will be all that great off road, but should still be adequate for me, I'm not as serious as some people here. They are almost brand new.

Come summer I will put on my Yakima rack I had on my Explorer to carry my canoe.
 
looks to be in fantastic shape! you gotta get rid of that big, stupid "corwin" sticker on the hatch! I hate when dealers do that!

Looks very nice. I know your concern over the black, the car will get real hot up there in Fargo, ND, especially in the winter.:confused:

I bought my 4Runner with Firestone Wranglers and they were OK, they were good in the snow. They lasted about 36,000 miles, not great, but at least they didn't blow up. Most of the failures with Firestones were in the South with high temperatures. It is probably 10' now in your neck of the woods.:eek:

Also, for my canoe, I used my existing rack, plus I added one wood cross member up front with suction cups, it worked great.

Once again, it looks great, it is nice to see another 3rd generation on this board.

LOL, yeah although it does get fairly warm here in the summer, my main concern with black is that it is hard to keep looking clean, and also hard to keep swirl marks out of it. Also scratches stick out more, and I always seem to end up with scratches from even easy off-roading. I like the way it looks though, it will just take more buffing.

Safety isn't the reason I don't like Firestones. I didn't want them because the ones on my dad's Rangers, my Explorer, and my wife's Civic are/were junk, especially in winter conditions.

These don't look too aggressive, but like I said they are working just fine, although they ride rougher than the Goodyears on other 4Runners I drove.

BTW it is 19 degrees now, quite nice for this time of year.;):

Sunday it towed my snowmobile though a ditch full of snow, so it's officially broken in. And yes, I meant to be there.

That Corwin badge will come off this spring, First toyz. It's pretty ugly, and I didn't exactly enjoy dealing with them.

Looking to sell a 2000 4Runner SR5 4x2

I have a single owner 2000 4Runner SR5 4x2 with 99K miles. I have all paperwork of all maintenance. It was my moms and almost always parked in a garage. I think this is a pretty rare thing and I want to know what I should ask for it and how to properly market it so someone that really wants it can get it. It's in great shape and really clean. She took good care of it. Thoughts?
