This is a sort of a feeler, I'm looking to buy a new car (My job requires long distance driving), so I may end up selling this to get finances for the new car. Also, I'm in no hurry to sell it, so don't try to lowball me.


I'm the second owner and I purchased it from a dealership in Ohio. It is a 2000 Toyota 4Runner Sr5 Sport, It is heavily modified for off-road. I purchased it with 80K miles on it bone stock, and Its got 146K now. Its a Supercharged V6, 5 speed manual transmission, color is Imperial Jade Mica. Its had oil changes EVERY 3-5K miles, Fully Synthetic only. All fluid recently flushed and filled by Stevinson Toyota in front diff, rear diff, t-case, and transmission, and power steering pump. Timing belt was done around 95K, along with plugs, wires, trueflow air filter, waterpump, fuel filter, MAF, O2 Sensors, Coil Packs. Rear brakes were done by Stevinson about 6K ago. Exterior is in pretty good shape.

Unfortunately, I can't have that yet even if money weren't really an issue on the build. My girl is my DD for my 40 mile commute. The gas alone is killing me as it is, not to mention the extra wear and tear of mods like that.

Damn that is a nice looking truck! I think sometimes it's a good idea to already buy a modified truck or sports car, not only does it save you time but also saves a lot of money as well.

One question though - how hard is it to off road with a manual?

harder then not manual, lol

that said it's very doable depending on how much foot coordination you got
and your a lot more busy behind the wheel, and a different experience then from wheeling with an auto.

not saying good or bad, it's just different, personally i prefer to worry about my lines and whats music is playing at the moment then dealing with a stick and dancing around on pedals, but that's just me, i'm lazy, some people really prefer being that engaged when out on the trail, for me i like to feel the fun of the trip as opposed to the heat of battle.....
i guess i'll just leave as this

not good or bad, just different, it is defiantly more engaging though when on the trail and is more work. take that for what you will.

That's a very good deal. I hope someone here picks it up.

The main thing I like about my manual is the ability to use the engine as a break. Helps a lot on steep descents and even just slowing down on the highway.
