2000 T4r will not start

All of a sudden I have no power and it will not jump start either. Replaced the battery, ground looks good, have voltage going to the fuse box, starter connection seems good but nothing works when I turn the key. The only thing that comes on is the airbag light and the power door locks work. When I turn the key to ignition I can hear the fuel pump but that's all. Any ideas on what to check?

Thats what a lot of my forum searches are leading me towards but I think there has to be something shorted or a bad connection coming from the starter and going towards the pannel on the inside because the under hood pannel has 12 volts. Going to look at the factory service wiring diagram and maybe pull the starter this weekend

A little vague, nothing works, or somethings work? Headlights? Interior lights? Radio? If nothing works, but you say you have voltage to the fuse box, how much voltage? If you are getting power but it won't crank, it's a totally different situation.

Nothing on the dash works, no radio, no lights, no door ding, the only thing that comes on is the airbag light and the door locks work. 12 volts to the fuse box

Well, I know you said the ground looks good, so we'll rule that out for now. If it were me, the next thing I'd check is if you have 12V at the fuse box to the left of the steering column. If not, we go back outside.

There is power to the interior fuse pannel. Just found out the hi beams work but only when you pull the stock, not when you push it forward to keep them on for good. The starter also has voltage. The regular head lights are still not working nor is anything inside ( dash, power windows, radio). Maybe I only have power to half of the fuse box? Gonna poke more with the meter

Ended up taking the 4runner to the dealership. They said there was something coroded in the underhood fuse box, probably the starter relay. The vehicle is still hesitating and cutting in and out when running so it is still in the shop. Ill post final details when we get it back.

My money is on it being witchcraft. Those Xterra people are always so jealous of our 3rd gen prowess that I wouldn't put it past them to have cast a hex on your electrical system.

Turned out to be a 120 amp fuse that was stuck open
