I have a 2001 Toyota 4Runner, 4x4, v6 3.4L, auto.tran. and it is in need of some expert advice. The Check Eng., VSC TRAC, and VSC OFF lights were on in dash.(for about 2years) Scanner code came up P1135, Air fuel ratio sensor (upstream) For about a month now, I would be driving along hwy and all of a sudden, no power, press down on gas pedal, nothing, slower,slower, and then, Bamo! Power again. Would happen a few times and then 5 - 6 times on a 65 mile round trip. I live in the mountains, so I have alot of steep and winding roads any time I drive. Replaced the sensor and the fuel filter which had alot of black junk in it. The dash lights went away and I drove 160 miles and it started doing it again. And now no lights in dash are even on to tell me whats going on. What do you think?
