2001 a/c problems

Sometimes the a/c will not blow air. I hear the compressor, but no air comes through vents. Then next time I start the car it works. Any ideas?

Does the fan work? If you have the a/c switch off and play with the fan speeds.

No. It will be working fine, and then I'll shut the car off, and when I start it again, NOTHING.

Sounds like the fan motor. Next time it won't blow, drop the glove box out and with your fist, give the back side of the motor a tap like your knocking on someones front door. If the motor starts up then that's the problem.

Should be easy just a few screws and wire connection.
