So its been about 4 hours, and I think I know everything that there is to know about fog lights for my truck.
...............Except are there mounting brackets already on my truck from the factory?
I want to install in the pre-fabed holes on my front, and from looking under it appears there are brackets?
Sorry its dark here in Alaska, and I cant tell for sure?
Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure. Definitely get a pic of the backside of the bumper when you get a chance. I know when I took my fogs off, the units seemed like the housing was integrated with the mounting brackets, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, it gets dark here in TX too, I just use a flashlight.:naughty:

I am interested too, I'm going to go look as it's light outside right now.

It was kinda hard to see but for my 1999 SR5, there is no mounting brackets. I imagine that the fogs have an integrated mounting clip that catches the back side of the rubber valance; like how door panel buttons clip in. F.Y.I.

Looked again, there may be a bracket after all. A flat plate with a notch; between the fog attachment point and bumper turn signals. My guess is the notch is for the wiring. Mine appears to be prewired too. How would someone turn them on then?

Maybe the plate just keeps the fog "light" from illuminating the turn signal? Now I'm just guessing.

I wish someone with actual knowledge would chime in. Please.

I have an 01' SR5 and they didn't come with lights or mounting brackets.

They come standard on either the Sport or Limited (maybe both), but not on the SR5. Ebay sells the brackets/lights as well as other auto part sites.

I just bought all the parts (or so I thought) to install the OEM type foglights on my 2001 SR5 4Runner. I need the L-shaped brackets that secure the foglights to the underside of the bumper. They did not come with the light assemblies. So I'm gonna ask if anyone might have a p/n for these brackets?

Yes, I've googled quite a bit already for p/n info and no luck. No, I've not yet contacted Toyota parts. Any help would be Greatly Appreciated!!
