2002 4runner o2 sensor output voltage

Hey everyone! Just wondering if somebody knows what the specs are for the output voltage of both o2 sensors. Im just trying to check that everythings working fine on my newly acquired T4R.
So I was playing around with my OBDII and looked at the readings. Its just I've heard that the output voltage should not go above 1.0.

O2 Sensor 1 - 3.25v
O2 Sensor 2 - 0.5v

Checked this at idling 690rpm.
I did not get an MIL by the way.

To check the O2 sensor you need a scope. But from your readings I'm guessing you have a 2001-2002. These trucks have a A/F sensor for bank 1 sensor 1 and a regular O2 sensor for bank 1 sensor 2. The A/F sensor range is 2.8-3.8v and the O2 voltage range is 0-1v but they are waves and a meter will average it. You have confirmed that its functioning and with no CEL its probably fine. If you had a scope you could see the shape of the waves and that could tell you if you had a bad quality or a malfunctioning A/F sensor or O2.

sorry to revive this very old thread but I've got a question that I'm having a hard time finding an answer for.

I have a cali emissions 1999 with the front a/f sensor.

my o2 bank1 sensor1 voltage is always sitting at .6 or .7 volts

The A/F sensor range is 2.8-3.8v

this sounds like my sensor is not working/is faulty. It is supposedly a Denso 234-9002 but i was being a dodo and ordered it from amazon.

it had 4.7 stars with 700+ reviews so I thought maybe it was gonna be good


I just wanna make sure it's not just me not knowing how to read/interpret torque pro's data. i dont get any other readings from any of the "air fuel ratio" sensors so im assuming o2b1s1 is the correct one to see my a/f sensor reading

You are interpreting the data wrong. The standard "O2 Sensor" PID is translated to an 'standard' O2 sensor voltage that would match the output levels of a standard O2 sensor. There are alternate PID(s) that will report actual AFR with the right math.

No, your AFR sensor is working correctly. Some PIDs report on a 0-5v scale, and some report on 0-1v scale. This chart my help.
