2003 BMW 540i M-Sport

Looking for a second car for my wife and have been strongly considering the 2003 BMW 540i M-Sport. It has all of the E39 M5 looks and equipment, minus the 6 speed manual and bigger engine.

Do any of you own one of these vehicles or know about them and can share some input?

Have you checked over on bimmerforums.com? That's a pretty active board and always have a good assortment of for sales broken down by chassis.

check this listing, it's an 03 540/6, doesn't mention the M sport pkg though.

As long as you are out of warranty (and don't have to deal with the dealers), they're not bad cars.
