2003 limited vs. 2005 sr5????

So I am looking at lots of different options. Within those there is a dealer that has a 2003 limited with nav with 120k miles and he also has the 2005 sr5 with 120k. They both have the v8 and 4x4 but I am a little hung up (they are almost the same price ((limited is just a few hundred more.))) on what would be nicer. I like the 2005 for the more hp but the 2003 is a really nice car, the leather, nav and other niceties look pretty cool.

So what do you all think???:shrug:

IMHO, I'd stick with the limited. I was a fan of fully adjustable seats, power seats, heated seats, sound system, leather, nav. I felt like I was in an X-terra in the sport. SR5 trim is the same interior as the sport right? I never considered SR5's in my search. Only thing I wish I had was a hoodscoop.

Not sure about the maps, a good question for sure. Although I believe you can get the updates pretty easy.

I really appreciate everyones input. Keep it coming! :keyboard:

Go with the LTD. I had an 06 LTD V8 that I wrecked and then found an 04 LTD V8 with Xreas that has been great. You will not notice the power difference from the 03 V8 to the 05 V8. I would make sure the timing belt has been replaced!

There you go...go with whichever had the timing belt replaced. If both, get the Limited lol

IMO I would go for the SR5. Simple, easy, less things to go wrong.

More goodies means more **** that will break and cost you $ (Limited)

I cant tell you how many threads I have seen about Broken sunroofs, Broken Seat heaters, Broken Seat adjustments, XREAS......my 0.02

if the SR-5 has cloth seats pass on it IMO and get the Limited, i have never sat in such an uncomfortable vehicle in my life. the seats are the only thing i dont like about my 4Runner

I have a SR5, which I think is a fine vehicle. However some bells and whistles would be nice, but the SR5 does come fairly well equipped from Toyota. The Limited would in theory will have a higher re-sale value. Either way, you'll end up with a great vehicle.
